May be mopeds are best for those who have knee issues. Mopeds fall in between cycles and motorbikes. Electric Mopeds are alao lot cheaper than electric scooters and almost the same price like popular ebike models.

I'd choose a torque sensor because it feels more natural. The motor matches how hard you're pedaling instead of simply detecting pedal movement. Cadence sensors are fine for casual rides, but torque sensors make riding smoother, and enjoyable.

The craziest thing that happened to me was when a dog suddenly ran across the road right in front of my e-bike. I had to brake hard to avoid it. I slipped and fell down. I got bruises on my knees and elbows. Thankfully, nothing serious happened.

I cannot talk about global market for the best value ebike and escooter because I have no idea, but here is my home country Yadea is the best value brand. They are comparatively cheaper but have a great performance. They offer 2 years warranty on battery.

I never owned a car, I have been riding scooter ever since I reached legal driving age. After using petrol scooter for many years I switched to electric scooter. Ever since switching to electric scooter, I have saved a lot of money on fuel and maintenance.

I think not every ebike or even escooter needs to be as fast as possible. I'd rather have a model with better battery life, comfort, and reliability than the one built mainly for speed. Since ebikes and escooter aren't built for a long distance, speed shouldn' matter much.

I keep my battery charged 40-60 percent when I am not using my ebike for a long time..When I am using it on a daily basis, I do not let the battery drop below 20 percent and don't keep charged above 80 percent. I don't keep charged overnight.

It depends on your priorities. If you frequently need to use public charging stations, fast charging is important. These days most models come with some kind of heat protection, so even fast charging doesn't harm battery much.

My ebike came with a bell but I upgraded to a horn. These days people pay less attention to bills especially in a busy and noisy roads.

I prefer wider tires with good puncture protection. They make the ride feel more stable and comfortable, especially on rough roads. I might have to compromise speed but wide tires give me better grip, and are also durable.

I always lock my e-bike to a solid bike rack or pole and avoid isolated places. If I'm leaving it for longer, I remove the battery whenever possible. It takes a few extra minutes but gives me much more confidence. For my escooter, I lock the handle as well.
