Are cyclists unfairly hostile toward e-bike riders?

Cyclists seem to have a lot of issues with those who use e-bikes, even when they don't do anything to cause anyone to have issues in the first place.

Could it be that some cyclists just have an issue with e-bike riders, regardless of any issues they caused? Are they being unfairly hostile towards e-bike riders?

I think some cyclists can be overly critical of e-bike riders, especially when e-bikes are seen as “taking shortcuts.” One main reason why people use bicycle is they also hmget exercise, however, ebike run on battery and they see it as a lazy riding. But I believe people are just choosing a different way to enjoy cycling or commute.
