Do you charge your e-bike battery after every ride or only when needed?

Some people are of the habit of always plugging their e-bike to charge after every use even if the battery isn't down below 50% while some people don't care to charge until the battery level is critically down.

I charge only when the power level goes down 20 percent. My escooter has 250 km range, and I ride 50 km perday on average, so I don't need to charge my escooter after every ride.

This is a good way to help keep your e-bike's battery in a good shape because constantly charging it is like overcharging the battery all the time. Most people have this habit of feeling their e-bike's batteries need to be at 100% all the time but that's not good for the batteries.
