Do you prefer carrying a spare battery on long rides?

My ebike has 45 km range and I don't use it frequently, I don't ride long distance so I don't need a spare battery. That's also true for my electric scooter. I get 250 km range and that is more than enough for me. I haven't considered buying a spare battery yet.

For those who need to travel long distance, it's vital for them to carry a spare battery because of likely no charging spots along the way. Some places wouldn't allow you charge in their establishment.
