Have E-Bikes Lived Up to the Hype?

I believe that e-bikes have changed the cycling landscape, making riding easier and more accessible for many people. But some cyclists still prefer the simplicity and challenge of traditional bikes.

In your personal opinion, do you think e-bikes have earned their popularity or do you think they're getting more attention than they deserve?

Whether it has lived up to the hype or not depends on why you bought it in the first place. If you bought to enjoy cycling or to get some physical activities, ebikes aren't for you. But if you bought to commute short distance for really cheap, it is certainly good.

I do feel that e-bikes have lived up to the hype and that they have changed many people's lives as well. Before e-bikes, delivery jobs such as food delivery were left to those who could drive a car, but since e-bikes were introduced, we are now seeing more people able to work in the delivery sector without a license or even a car.

It has also made commuting much cheaper for those who have switched from, say, public transport or even a car to get to and from work, college, or university.
