I wouldn't really say that I have made new friends from riding my e-bike over the years. I greet a few people along my riding route and that's just it. Greeting doesn't necessarily make someone become your friend automatically. I mostly use my e-bike as a means of transportation to work which I believe is why I haven't made any friends through it. If it were to be for leisure riding, I'm sure to have made lots of friends.
