How Safe Do You Feel Riding an E-Scooter in Traffic?

I have been riding scooter for more than 10 years, first petrol scooter and then electric scooter. However, I was mostly living in a small town where there was small traffic. However, I now live in a big city and I don't feel very safe to ride my electric scooter. Do you feel confident riding alongside cars and bikes, especially in a heavy traffic? What safety measures or gear do you rely on?

I have been riding scooter for more than 10 years. I was first using a petrol scooter and now I use electric scooter. I have been using electric scooter for almost 4 years and I haven’t encountered any issues. I don't get scared by other vehicles around me. I just keep my speed under 40 kilometres
