How useful is suspension on e-scooters?

If you take a note of escooter marketing, you will see that marketing always highlights suspension systems. However, reality is little different, not all setups seem equally effective. Some escooters still ride harsh even with dual suspension because of tire choice or frame stiffness. Do you think suspension system actually improves your commute on your escooter or do believe tire size and pressure are more important?
