RCB G6 Full Review & Test – Performance, Features & Real‑World Review
This is the place for honest, uncensored electric bike reviews. In this deep‑dive, we take a full look at the RCB G6, an e‑bike that blends sleek design with commuter‑friendly practicality. The review covers everything from build quality to riding performance, with real‑world testing, drone shots, and a full walk‑around of the bike.
Below is a complete breakdown of what we reviewed in the RCB G6 Full Review & Test, seen below.
The RCB G6 makes a strong first impression to me with its clean frame and integrated battery. Starting at the front, and working the way to the rear of the bike, I discussed all the features and specs the RCB G6 had to offer and what could be improved. As standard, as you would expect for any electric bike on the market, the RCB G6 comes equipped with a LCD display, including a LED control panel that can be easily changed while riding. If you are interested in purchasing the RCB G6, you can do so by clicking here.
RCB G6 Review - Bell & Controls — 7/10
The bell works, but it’s not very loud and has a bit of play and can easily be moved, as seen in the RCB G6 review video. It’s a small detail, but one RCB could refine in future versions. The control panel, however, is something that I really liked. It features a bright LED display with:

- Walk mode
- Manual unlock
- Light controls
- Three assist levels: Eco, Standard, and Turbo
The bike is fully EAPC‑compliant, meaning it tops out at 15.5 mph but to achieve this speed you do need to keep pedaling as fitting a throttle that propels anymore than walk speed is illegal and you risk having your bike confiscated!
The display also cycles through:
- Voltage
- Amps
- Total mileage
- Ride time
- Battery level
It’s simple, clear, and easy to use.
RCB G6 Review - Gears - 8/10
The G6 uses a Shimano Tourney 7‑speed system. Shifting is smooth and intuitive — just a simple click up or down. If you want to exceed the 15.5 mph limit, you’ll need to pedal in a higher gear, which the bike handles comfortably. Provided the motor is not assisting you more than 15.5mph, you can pedal faster than this speed and the bike will remain legal and compliant to the EAPC regulations in the United Kingdom.

RCB G6 Review - Walk Mode - 10/10
While Assembling the RCB G6, I noticed that the right hand grip looked like a throttle. I'm not going to lie, I was concerned that the company had sent me an illegal model and throughout my commutes I could risk having the bike seized by police in the UK. Although it does indeed look like a throttle, it’s actually a walk‑assist feature. Twisting it brings the bike to 3–6 mph, this essentially helps you get moving from standstill as with the added weight of the battery / motor, it can be hard to start pedaling like yo would on a normal bike, without motor assistance
Because it’s walk‑assist only, it remains fully legal in the UK and EU.
RCB G6 - 27.5 Inch Tyres, Breaks, Cabling & Mudguards - 6/10
The bike features 27.5-inch tyres, front and rear, which I found offered a comfortable ride, and it asorbed any bumps I went over with ease. This could be seen at the very start of the RCB G6 review video, where I went over a small stream. They handle light off‑road terrain well, making the RCB G6 suitable for riding both on road and off road. Cable management is tidy and well‑thought‑out making it look like a regular bike, rather than a ebike if someone was to look from a distance. My only real critism and something that RCB could improve upon in their next model is replacing Cable Breaks for Hydraulic Breaks. Hydraulic breaks would make stopping distance quicker and more responsive.

The bike also includes front and rear mudguards. They are plastic and still work, but if the company considered adding metal/steel mudguards this would be a nice premium finish in their next model.
RCB G6 Review - Removable 36v 13ah Integrated Battery - 10/10
The RCB G6 features a 36V 13Ah integrated battery, giving it a clean, stealthy look. As I previously mentioned, from a distance this bike would not look like a electric bike, You can't see the battery and that's because it's integrated within the frame. Unfortunately during my video review of the RCB G6 I forgot to bring the key to unlock the battery pack, but it can be easily removed from the frame. This allows for external charging in a cafe, place of work, or simply bringing into your home if it's not practical to store the bike indoors.

RCB claims 70–90 km of range, which is realistic depending on:
- Rider weight
- Weather
- Terrain
- Assist level
RCB G6 Review - Rear Rack - 9/10
The rear rack can carry up to 25 kg, making it perfect for:
- Storage boxes
- Panniers
- Day‑trip essentials

It’s a great addition for people who commute or perhaps want to take the bike touring for the day. The rear rack allows you to store anything from an additional battery to double your range, water, food, or even your shopping from the local store!
RCB G6 Review - Price - 10/10
The RCB G6 currently retails for £749.99, down from £1,499. I am not sure how long the company will keep the bike priced at £749.99 but for this price, and what we have discussed in the review the bike is definitely worth every single penny in my opinion. As you could tell from the RCB G6 review, I opted for the black color but the company do offer this model in multiple colors.
It comes in three colours:
- Black
- Blue
- Pink
Pros and Cons
From my review of the RCB G6, I can say that the bike offers excellent value for money. It’s comfortable, practical, and looks good, with thoughtful touches like brake lights, GPS tracking, and an integrated battery that makes the electric bike look like a normal bicycle you would see .
Pros
- Great value for the price
- Clean design with integrated battery
- Strong lighting and visibility
- Useful walk‑assist
- Good range
- Rear rack included
- App + NFC unlock
Cons
- Bell feels cheap
- Cable brakes instead of hydraulic
- Plastic mudguards
