Should manufacturers be required to make e-bike parts easily repairable?

A lot of ebikes use sealed components or proprietary systems that make simple repairs expensive or impossible outside authorized centers. Do you think repairability should be part of regulation for ebikes or should the market decide?

I think they should make most of the e-bike or e-scooter parts easy to be repaired because that's going save people a lot of money. Also, those e-bike or e-scooter spare parts should be made affordable. When it's too expensive, it makes it hard for most people to fix their damaged e-bike or e-scooter.
