Should there be mandatory training before riding powerful e-scooters?

E-scooters have been available for quite a few years now, and there have never been any limits as to who can own and ride an e-scooter, but with the accidents that happen in many places and the dangers to pedestrians when it comes to those who ride e-scooters on footpaths, there has been debates as to whether those who ride powerful e-scooters should undergo mandatory training before they can ride them.

Do you feel mandatory training should be enforced before someone can ride a powerful e-scooter?

The day I understood that the requirement for getting drivers license included motorcycling expertise I was surprised. It’s just that it is not so enforced today anymore.

In our country, you need a license to ride electric scooter. You will have to pass written test as well as riding test. The rules for electric scooter written test or riding test are same as the rules for petrol scooter.
