What do you think of this new law?

There’s a new ordinance that e-bikes can only go 15 mph on bike lanes and sidewalks. It is Illegal to ride it in parks, so you must walk it. I think the walking it in park is uncalled for.
You can turn off the motor and ride it like a regular bike but still illegal. Basically u can ride a regular bike at the park 15mph but can ride 5mph on ebike.

Many argue that the law feels restrictive and discouraging. What do you think?

We don't have any laws regarding speed limit for ebikes. We also do not have specific laws against riding on pavements but it is generally accepted that pavements are for pedestrians and you might be stopped if traffic police spots you riding ebike on pavements
