Why do some e-scooters become “unrepairable” after minor damage?

A small crash can sometimes damage integrated electronics or folding systems that aren’t designed for modular replacement. That turns a simple issue into a full replacement. Have you ever had a repair on your escooter or ebike that wasn’t worth fixing due to cost or part availability?

The reason why an e-bike or e-scooter would damage to that kind of extent is as a result of too much speeding in most cases. It's why I'm against riding e-bikes or e-scooters at a very high speed because the rider is endangering his/her life, other people's lives and also a possibility of completely damaging the e-bike or e-scooter.
