Chargers most of the time start having issues when the wires become entangled too much. A friend of mine complained to me last week about his e-bike battery charger becoming faulty when he haven't used it for long. It's why I don't like rolling up my e-bike's charger wire too rough in order to avoid any internal damage I can't see easily.
